How to make pan cake at home

Here’s a simple and delicious recipe for classic pancakes:

Classic Pancakes Recipe

Ingredients (Serves 2-3)

  • 1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour

  • 2 tablespoons sugar

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 3/4 cup (180ml) buttermilk (or regular milk)

  • 1/4 cup (60ml) milk

  • 1 large egg

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter (or oil)

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

  • Butter or oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Mix Dry Ingredients:
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

  2. Mix Wet Ingredients:
In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.

  3. Combine:
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently stir until just combined. Do not overmix—it’s okay if there are a few lumps.

  4. Heat the Pan:
Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease with butter or oil.

  5. Cook the Pancakes:
Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set (about 2-3 minutes). Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes, or until golden brown.

  6. Serve:
Serve warm with your favorite toppings like maple syrup, fresh fruit, whipped cream, or butter.

Enjoy your fluffy pancakes! 🥞😊
